Help! regards error when trying to capture/streaming

Post by alovella »

:( Fedup. Yes I am. Ive tried for hours trying to capture from my camcorder being a Samsung VP-D362. I loaded Ulead VideoStudio 9 SE no Problem. I then link up my cam via the USB cable& Switch on to player. My My viewer shows Streaming with a USB icon but. When I try to Capture image onto my computer it comes up with error which says (cannot detect device or driver not installed) I Uninstalled/installed VideoStudio several times which included shutting down & restarting computer but error just keeps coming up. The software by the way came with my camcoder. And whenever I switch on my camcorder, it shows as detected & trys to reload I beleive the software Then comes up with Did not load correctly & may not work properly. Something like that anyway. Appreciate help Tony

Your camcorder does have a Firewire port (IEEE-1394), so try using it. Then I also noticed that it records to MPEG-4. Your version is not a full version of VS9, when it was released by Ulead, required a separate plug-in for MPEG-4.
