Error rendering an avi with images

p4 - XP - 500 mb ram - VS10 +

I am trying to create an avi file of images and and 3 audio mp3's, i have 100 photos average size is 1 to 5 mb's total of 187 mb, when i create a video file i often get out of memory error messages . Have split the project up in to 2 parts and it runs fine however the total exceeds 3 gb's.

I am using the "Use current project setting " and "custom" setting options to adjusted the avi compression without success.

Am I missing a setting someswhere or is the a alternate way of rendering the entire file ??
