Unable to burn data

using NEC DVD+RW ND-6650A 102C burner with Verbatim double layer DVD+R.
Parameters in select burner are correct for dvd type.
Disc information - advanced is correct
Disc preferences in Disc menu are correct

Burn command runs until giving an unable to write message.

Any suggestions??

Are you sure your burner can burn dual layer disks?
