NO audio during capture

Hi,
I have Videostudio 9 and during my video capture I don't hear any audio.
The captured video has the audio but not during the capture can I hear it.
Is this normal or how can I hear audio while I'm capturing?

How are you capturing your video, Firewire (IEEE1394), capture card, USB?

I am using a capture card PCI Leadtek Win 2000 expert. Card audio out is going to CD in. I am using the Composite inputs (RCA jacks).

Normally the audio connection should be to LINE-IN not CD-IN...
