photoimpact 8 problem

Post by sean patrick »

I have been using Photoimpact 8 since early 2003, the "Have encountered a problem and must close" has turned up two or three times in the past few years. I have been able to fix the problem up until now. This time I have ran out of ideas and decided to reinstall the software. My problem is that I can't find the paper CD wallet with the nine digit serial code which is needed for a reinstall. I used the add/remove 'repair' option but to no avail. How can I reinstall without the code.

Did you register it on-line with Ulead? If so just log-in and go to View my registered products. You will be able to get the serial number from there.

Please click here --> Image so that we can then view your system specifications.

If you had done so before then I would know if you are running windows XP in which case I could then advise you to try using 'System Restore' to return your computer to a point in time before you uninstalled PhotoImpact so that you could retrieve your serial number.
