lost video clips that came with UVS10 in the video library

Post by joosuna »

Just changed computers and loaded UVS10plus. Some how the video clips that came in the video library with the installation do not play (just a black screen when I drop them into the video track for viewing ). And when I use them with my regular camcorder video clips to save as a video file I get an error message " no combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the conversion". I then installed my old UVS9 with the same results. The programs do not play the preinstalled video clips of the video library. Only thing I can think of, there is a conflict with some other software program ? Has anyone had a similar experience?

The video clips from my camcorder can be saved as Video File without a problem. It is only when I try inserting one of the preinstalled video clips of the video library that gives me the error message.

regards
Joe
PS I even tried the repair function of UVS10 and UVS9, same problem, after repaired was done.

It sounds like you need to install the Indeo Video codec.
From memory there is a copy on the Bonus disc of VS9.
