error message in Ulead Video Studio 10 Plus

Hope somebody can help.

i have recently upgraded to ULead VideoStudio 10 Plus from 9. Whilst trying to edit my system freezes and I get the following error message

failed to use Directshow video engine. Colnitialize has not been called [13102:2:1]

I have sent a message to technical support but not received a reply.

I am using a PAL system.

My computer is an AMD Dual Core 3800+ with 4 GIG ram. I have plenty of memory available in the hard drive.

What can I say, welcome to the forum. Have a read of this

and come back with a description of your problem, when it happened and what you were trying to do at the time.
