I am having a real problem creating DVD's with my new MF3 Disk Creator software. I had been using version 2SE successfully and now wonder why I ever upgraded. More often than not, the program crashes while it is creating the disk menus and the disk content. I have tried closing every known program, disconnecting from the net and trying to make sure as much memory is available as possible. (I have 768 MB on the computer.) I also have cleared all the old files in the convert directory, as I first thought that could be the problem. However, I still can't create a disk. (I did make one successful disk after many tries, but now can't seem to get my 2nd project to burn.) I've installed all the updates, too. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution to it that has worked for you?
There are other issues, as well, but I need help with this one now. Thanks!
HELP! MF3 continually crashes
They are mpg files, captured as MPG-2 at 6000 kbps and the project is also to be 6000kbps. I did some editing of the files and added text to some of them, but I don't think that is the problem. Each time the crash occurs at 27% finished, just after the 2nd file has been encoded. At this point I've uninstalled everything and am going to try reinstalling but haven't had time to do that yet.
I tried the program on my laptop and SO FAR have not had the crash problem, but I didn't have the problem on my main computer, either, until I had created a couple disks...or it only happened now and then. Now it is EVERY time.

Make sure you really installed all the updates and patches of DVD MovieFactory. You might need to reinstall DVDMF before you apply all the patches to make the problem to be solved.

If that does not help, I would think that maybe some frames in the MPEG file are corrupted. If this is the case, you might need to use some third party tool to correct the file.
Hope this helps.
