DVD pictureshow2 has no DVD option for output

Post by kd6aaj »

No DVD option for output format in new project, only VCD, nothing else.

I have DVD Pictureshow 2 SE Basic and just installed Ulead disk image recorder plugin..

Also have Video Studio 6 and Ulead Photo Explorer 8 SE Basic Installed.

I tried copying the other files (without replacing existing files) from Vidio Studio to DVD Pictureshow, but no difference.

All software is registered. Installed from CDROM bundled with my hardware.

What is the problem?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with PS2SE but is there possibly an output option that needs to be set to "DVD" prior to creating your show?

There is no "DVD" Icon, just a VCD Icon. No other icons.

It talks about selecting VCD, SVCD or DVD at the start of a project in the Help files, but VCD is the only option shown when I run the software.

DVD Pictureshow 2 SE Basic
Video Studio 6
Ulead Photo Explorer 8 SE Basic

Your copy of VideoStudio is now quite old - the current version being 10+
Is the copy of videoStudio also what is termed a "SE" version.

Your SE versions are what are known as "Simple Edition" and normally given away free with either a piece of hardware such as a camera, camcorder scanner or the like, or found on the cover CD of a computer magazine.

The "Simple Editions" of the Ulead software are just that - simple. They are limited in what can be done and most likely do not support DVD burning. They are considered as never ending free trials.

Thanks for the response, I was afraid of that. I guess I'll have to upgrade or get the full version to do what I want.
