Split screen video?

Post by coach.hardin »

I have VS10 & am wondering if there is a way to put two clips on the screen at the same time, each clip taking up half the screen. I've tried it putting one clip in the video track & the other in the overlay track, but it won't let me resize the clip in the video track to share the screen.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or can this be done at all?

Thanks.

But if you could resize the base video to fit half a screen it would be badly distorted with everything looking tall and thin - that is not the way to do it - please read this tutorial :-

Hi coach.hardin,

This tutorial might work a bit better. Try this one as well.
