Is there still something wrong with this web board? The pages take forever to load. I don't have a problem with any other website.

Ditto for me as well. It seems to have started either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning (U.S. Eastern time zone). I don't exactly remember when, but it is still occuring now.

:? :? :?:

Arggggh, I hate those two words.........."dial up".

You are right, though. This forum is painfully slow right now, especially when I'm used to 6.0 Mbps speed.

Hope it gets fixed fast.

:x :(

Still painfully slow in South Florida. Time is now 10:07 PM Eastern Standard Time. It took 45 seconds for this post reply page to come up after clicking on the Post Reply button.

Maybe its an eastern seaboard problem, since Jeff was having the same problem. I hope someone is looking into this.
Cheers,

Bryan P.

Hi lancecarr, it's fine here also in Taiwan with HiNet ADSL.

The slowness has now started affecting me.. This is my third attempt at posting this here. I started noticing the slow response at about 8pm CST. It is now 9:45 pm. It has been taking about 5 minutes to load. Dial-up was never this bad. I'm using DSL at 1.8Mpbs...

So maybe the server or the phpbb needs checked.. This was a possible symptom in the hijack. The board started slowing down about 2-3 days prior....

Hi Ron and HT.
Well it is now about 24 hours from my last report and the forum is still performing as slow.
HT, I am also on Hinet ADSL. Are you sitting on top of the server in Hsinchu?

Hi,

It's still fine here in Taipei. I'm at home with my 8M HiNet ADSL, and I have turned off the proxy setting of the network connection. Don't know if there is any difference. :(

Why you think I'm in Hsinchu? Just curious.

OK, now I also get the slow forum issue, but it seems not identical because I also have the same issue with another non-Ulead PHPBB forum in Taipei.

Maybe it's the network problem? I cannot figure it out. :(
