opening a saved project after, share mode

Post by brucefl »

I was wondering if a project saved after going through the share/burn mode if it can be opened.

When the project is burned, I notice if you close the burn window it ask if you want to save the project. Is this differnt than, when you are editing and save the project?

I want to burn the project again with the same settings as I had used, and wondering if there was an easier way to open it rather than going to through the naming the chapters and changing the settings?
thanks Bruce

I've never quite discovered what that "Saving Project" message actually saves. I tend to ignore it.

What you need to do before starting the Authoring stage is save the VideoStudio project with a meaningful name - even if it's an empty project.
Now enter the authoring stage, create your menus etc and when you exit that stage - whether this be after burning a DVD or even before reaching that point, Ignore the "Saving ... " message and as soon as you are returned to the VideoStudio Editor (The stage before you enter the authoring module) - Save the project.

Now you will find that if you exit VideoStudio, next time you re-open that project and enter the authoring stage your menus etc will be intact.
