Video Filters have vanished PLEASE HELP

Post by M3ntlaR »

I opened up my Vid studio 10 today and attempted to edit one of my vids. However for some reason now, when i click on "Attribute" it does not show any video filters to add. I am unable to find them any where and have even unstalled the program and installed it again and I still can't find them.

I can see the filters that have already been added and am able to customize them and remove them but I am unable to add any new ones.

Please Help

Kind Regards

This happened to me - my only way round it was a real pain, to uninstall all of my VS (8/9 & 10+) do a clean up on my registry, delete all the VS directories manually (as uninstall doesn't actually remove dirs sometimes) then re-install.

Later I found out this happens when an ini file gets corrupted, this link has some suggestions on how to resolve it.

M3..it has happened to me a few times. If you have the CD of UVS10, install it and click on the repair function.

But that erases all your custom libraries, etc. Does the ini fix correct the filter problem without removing your customizations?
