You have come to the wrong place for that. This board is concerned with Ulead video and image editing only.

What you will need to do is to finalise the DVD disc in your camera for the DVD ROM drive in your PC to be able to read this. Whether or not moviemaker lets you then impoprt the VOB files, I don't know.

Well if you were a VideoStudio User and wanted to know how to get your Video onto your Hard Drive so that you could edit it with VideoStudio I could probably help. However this is NOT a Microsoft MovieMaker User forum.

Please view:
VS : Importing DVD Files

Instead of using Windows Movie Maker which came FREE with Windows XP why not use VideoStudio which you have PAID for?

WOW I'm just cuious why you would want to use Movie Maker over VS, I just bought a HDD Handycam Sony and it would not work with Movie Maker, at all.
