DVD Templates
Can any one tell me if there are any web sites from which I can download free dvd templates for VS9, because I find that I am very limited for choice. Also is there somewhere I can get some fancy fonts i.e 3D chrome effects some thing that would make the titles look more professional. Can I import these also from previous versions of VS?

Point 1 - More templates.
MF5/ VS9 /VS10: Share Menus, Transitions between products

Point 2 - Fancy Titles.
Use Ulead Cool 3D Production Studio / Ulead Cool 3D
You will have a copy of one of these already as it came free with your purchase of VideoStudio.

Steve, that's all well and good, but I would like to find a source for the actual menu templates. I upgraded from Ver. 8 to 10+, but I've been told (by you, I think) that Ver. 9 had many and more of these templates included. Is there somewhere they can be downloaded, perhaps in a zip file or other archive?sjj1805 wrote:Point 1 - More templates.

Not to my knowledge but I have previously created the following for some other forum members
http://www.steve-jones.pwp.blueyonder.c ... uttons.zip
http://www.steve-jones.pwp.blueyonder.c ... Thumb1.zip
They are a bit basic - mainly just top provide you with a blank menu
one has One thumbnail - the other has 12. You then alter the background, music and so one as per this tutorial

Cool 3D
Thanks very much for the help on templates and transfering images/videos from the old versions. As for the 3D titling, I do not have the Cool 3D programme that you mentioned, it did not come with my downloaded verson of VS9. Is there any way that I can still get this programme?

I found where Ulead has started selling the VideoStudio 10 DVD Menu Templates.. $39.99 US
http://www.ulead.com/vs/dvd_template.htm
Look at them closely, I know several that I already have, from previous versions...

For 19 pounds 99 pence
Hmmm - the forum still can't print pound signs.

Man, that just isn't right. I understand finding new revenue streams, but charging for content that was included in previous versions just smacks of greed. And charging $39 for non-functional add-ons to a program that costs less than $99 is exorbitant.vidoman wrote:I found where Ulead has started selling the VideoStudio 10 DVD Menu Templates.. $39.99 US

Do I have to have VS9 to use these or can I import them into VS10+ ? When I tried to open one nothing happened. Any help?
