Can't export slideshow to mpeg format

I am currently using Photo Explorer 8.6 and am trying to export a slideshow to mpeg format to insert into a project in VideoStudion 10+. I have done this twice before with no issues, but cannot get it to work this time. When I select the export button and choose to save my project in the mpeg format it responds as if it is going to work and shows me a progress box with 1%. It then suddenly stops with no error messages or any other sign of problems. Any ideas on what may be causing this? My help menu offered no solutions.

I went back to a slideshow that I had exported before and tried to export again just to see if it would work and it did, so it seems like there is a problem with this particular series of pictures.

I guess you answered your own question, there must be something with your current series of pictures. Impossible to guess what though. The only way I can think of is to add one image after the other to find out which one is causing the problem.
