MSP error

HI, I have installed MSP8 and after I install it, it always gives me error message, it gives me that error message when I edit a project, and always after I close the program it gives me that error message here it's

Event ID :1000
Faulting application veditor.exe, version 8.0.0.0, faulting module ff_acm.acm, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0000114b.

I have powerful pc, processor Intel 3.00 dual core, RAM 1.5 giga DDR2, display card Nividia Geforce FX 5200 , Sony DV tape recorder/player
and windows XP professional

please feed me back how to solve this error I try to download SP1 of MSP8 but it didn't make any sense

Please let us know your MSP build version in the Help->About box.

Also it seems it's the codec ff_acm.acm to cause MSP to crash. However, ff_acm.acm is not a Ulead codec and should be removed to have MSP working properly.

I found that codec installed, and I uninstall it, and I notice that is the error not happened again, thanks alot for your help
by the way our bulit is power pack 1.0
