Greetings,
I have activated the "Advanced" button for Compression in Video Save Options in VS. This is where you can actually select the Min, Avg, and Max bitrates for Mpegs for VR encoding (among other "advanced" options) instead of just the Max with Ulead's defaults for the other two. If anybody wants to know how this is done just ask.
Here are my questions.
Do you recommend a wider spread between Max and Min when encoding? And would you recommend a symmetrical spread around the average where the Avg is exactly in the middle of Max and Min, or it doesn't make a difference?
Let's also assume, for argument's sake, that the bitrate and the file size would be equal between two, or more, schemes. I'm really concerned about which would produce the better, more optimized quality per bit in the final video.
Thanks so much in advance.
Bitrate spreads and intervals.
