How do you activate PI12 after purchasing it?
OK, I know this is a really dumb question but it has me stumped.
I used the TBYB trial for about a week and then 2 weeks ago I purchased the full version from the Ulead web site. After submiting the order, the web site gave me no acknowledgement that my order was successful. I did receive email confirmation and an invoice from Element5, and my credit card has been charged. I received no activation code either on the web site or by email. I have a user account at both Ulead and Element5, but no codes there.
I have sent messages to customer service, but no reply from them in a week. My trial is about to expire and it still wants an activation code to continue running. What is the trick to get an activation code?

When you purchased, you should have received a confirmation email. In that email should be some links to download the program. Hopefully that is the route you chose. Activating or unlocking the trial versions has posed problems when it comes to applying SPs. The SPs tend to see your program as still being a Trial version, and not install.
Log into your Element5 account and look for the links there too. You need to download the program, and any other content files associated with it. PI 12 still uses the "smart download", and I will say that I have used it and it is the first time I've had it work, in any of Ulead's programs.
If at all possible do not unlock activate a TBYB version. Do a complete un-install of your TBYB version before attempting to install a full/upgrade.
