Today, i've install a ioneer Blu Ray Burner in my PC. Then i update the German Version "Fimbrennerei 5" with the 3 newest ULEAD -Patches.
Now i have a Program for burn a Blu Ray Videodisk, but without Menus oder additional Features (Chapters etc.). In "Filmbrennerei 5" is no Icon or Projekt Button für an Blu Ray-Videodisk.
The Final Disk is not read in Windows Filestructure . The Explorer show an error (Disk empty or defect).
With an other Tool, i can burn Data-Disks on the same Drive, and the Explorer read them. This tool shows me an used track on an ULEAD authored BD-Disk.
Why is there no Icon for a Blu Ray Videodisk-Projekt in Filmbrennerei 5?
Why is no Playersoftware for Final Blu Ray Disks inside of Filmbrennerei 5?
btw. - "HD DVD Projects" Work well in Filmbrennerei on a standard DVD-R into a HD-Player.
Is ULEAD not ready for the Future in HD, yet?

Re: Blu Ray Support not complet implemented?
Some Blu-ray supports are been provided in the Plus edition only. The BD component in DVDMF 5 standard should be the Blu-ray DiscRecorder.Baumgärtner wrote:Now i have a Program for burn a Blu Ray Videodisk, but without Menus oder additional Features (Chapters etc.). The final BD disk is not readable in Windows Explorer is because Windows XP does not support UDF driver 2.6 natively, and BD require UDF 2.6 to read. You need to install a UDF 2.6 driver so you can read the disk in Windows Explorer.Baumgärtner wrote:The Final Disk is not read in Windows Filestructure . Ulead does provide a UDF 2.6 driver called Ulead Data-Add, however, it's not included in DVDMF 5. To play your BD disk, you might need to play it on a real BD player.
Because the BD spec is still not final when DVDMF 5 is been released. But you can find a BD player provided by the Ulead colleague, InterVideo.Baumgärtner wrote:Why is no Playersoftware for Final Blu Ray Disks inside of Filmbrennerei 5?

WinDVD 8 which includes HD/BD playing capability will be released soon.
Ulead is ready for the HD future, and will be the first to be.
