Word of advice before I purchase please

Hello,

I have downloaded video 10 on free trial. What I am looking for the most is Dolby Digital sound on my homemade DVD disc. I am a keen home cinema fan and would love to do my own 5.1. I have tried on my first tape but only got prologic on my amp not Digital and speaker use not very good, so I take it that Dolby not available on trial version or I am not doing it right. For those who have full version is the sound creator good to use with good quality 5.1 sound coming from disc. My pc has Creative Audigy 2 and does produce Dolby if that makes a difference and my camcoredr is Digital Camcorder (Cannon 750i) with mini DV tapes.

Much appreciate your thoughts,
Phill

Due to licensing issues trial versions do not include Dolby.
The full version of VideoStudio 10+ includes Dolby and will handle 5.1.

As far as I am aware, though, you cannot get true 5.1 surround sound from the audio on mini-DV tapes, which are dual channel stereo. And I imagine that remains true even with background music and voiceovers added. With some mucking around, you could make a good 'virtual' surround sound though.
