When I create a DVD with mulitiple mpg files and set the option to have it continuous play rather than going back to the menu after each title, there is a short freeze between chapters when the DVD player appears to seek out the next file. I have noticed this same thing when authoring DVD's in Roxio software.
I realize that if I combine all the mpgs for a given DVD into one big one before DVD creation and then create chapters that this solves the problem but I was just wondering if there is a way to provide smooth play between titles without having to do this.

Your solution of making one tiitle with many chapters is the only solution.
The only downside is that you don't have the option of automatically stopping playback at the end of a chapter.
