Help with XVID two-pass compression

Hi.

I cannot get the two-pass function of xvid(or x264) to work properly. It will do the first pass fine, but when I do the second pass it's like it just does the first pass again(real fast), there is no playable video file created. I'm not sure but it seems like it might be something with the stats/pass file? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Single-pass works fine and two-pass works fine with VirtualDub and other similar programs.

Any help would be appreciated.
