I almost gave up. This works like a charm. I can only Confirm the Solution and the Problem. You are a life Saver.

I suddenly discovered this fault with PI-12. I am running Tweak-UI and until now have had no problems at all. So I'll see if the posted cure works for me too..

I submitted a form to Ulead about this "Save As" problem.. Here's the complaint and their response..
Question/Problem: After completing a project, I go to File>Save As. Select a file format, type in a name to save my project as, and click Save. Nothing happens. No error messages, no freeze, no crash, just nothing. The file is not saved. It has been discovered by a member of the User to User Web Board that changing DWord for the Registry entry of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\comdlg32\NoFileMru"
from 1 to 0 corrected this. It has also been reported that it may be connected to WinXP Power Tool: Tweak UI. However I was having no problems, have been using Tweak UI. Today I experienced this problem...

Yes the Save As problem can be corrected by the editing the registry and/or removing TweakUI.

So no indication of anything being done to correct it. What a pity...:( However to those that say they never get a response from Ulead, this only took 2 days, and the weeked was involved. So yes they do respond, even though it is not what we're looking for.

I have attempted to reply to Ulead's reply, however the JavaScript used is so poor that it is causing my browser (FireFox and IE) to freeze up. I must use Ctl+Alt+Delete to continue. I mean a JS popup button that hammers you after press the submit button... :x :evil: :twisted: :x

I've had issue over this with Ulead for a very long time. Trying to keep a dialogue thread in email going with them is nigh impossible as their '
submit' button never works. It's so darn frustrating.

I just wish Ulead would have a better service and even better programmers so we can purchase a non-faulty product.
