Thumbnail Display

Post by JeffKovy »

I promise not to post too often but one more thing is vexing me as a newcomer.

I am "renaming" the thumbnails when I create them for ease of editing and would like the option of just viewing a list of those names instead of both the thumbnails and their descriptions. Is there a preference setting or toggle somewhere for this?

I have searched high and low and can't find anything.

Thanks for the reply Black Lab but that's not the area that I'm talking about. I found the File>Preferences>General tab>Clip Display Mode and thought that it was my answere but that only affects the Timeline view at the bottom.

I'm talking about the area (upper right) where the thumbnails are displayed before you drag them onto the timeline (the library area, I would call it). The thumbnails are too small to serve much purpose here so I would like to just see a list of the descriptions that I have attached to them instead.

In that case, I don't think you can.
