Why do I need an extra 8GB Hard Drive space to Burn a DVD?
I am using Ulead Video Studio 10, I captured using the Ulead settings for DVD (mpeg2) and want to create a DVD. Why do I need 8GB Hard Drive space to burn a DVD?
Is it making another set of mpeg2 files?

Dependant upon the work involved in creating your DVD it can require even more than the 8GB indicated, or it can require considerably less.
If your Video files are already DVD compliant MPEG2 it mainly needs space to create the Menus and various temporary files. If however you are using avi files or non compliant MPEG2 files they need to be converted and this takes up temporary hard drive space. The same applies to the audio.
