What are and what is the difference between a "disc image file" and a "DVD folder"? I am having some trouble burning to the actual disc, but seem to have created these two item which I should then be able to burn to a DVD (for TV viewing) without having to wait for rendering every time. Right? So, which one of these should I use and how do I burn it to the disc? Or do I just burn this item like I would any file?
Thanks in advance.

Whilst it is mostly a matter of personal choice I myself prefer to burn to a DVD folder.
Both options create a file on your hard drive and you can then use your favourite burning software (Nero, CopyToDVD, Ulead Burn Now etc) to make as many copies as you wish.
The advantage in my opinion of using the Burn to folders option is that it then enables you to view the completed DVD using your favourite DVD viewing software (PowerDVD, NeroVision, WinDVD 7.0 etc) as a final check before burning it to a DVD disc.
It also gives you the opportunity to make further tweaks to the DVD such as with MenuEdit, IFOEdit, PGCEdit etc.

Place a commercial DVD into your DVD drive and view it with Windows Explorer. You will see that it contains a Video_TS directory.
When you burn a DVD to your hard drive you will also see a Video_TS directory. This is what gets burned to the DVD disc.
You cannot burn to a DVD disc using 'DVD Rom' you must use the option to burn a DVD Video disc, this will ensure you have the correct structure and file format.
