:?: Good morning everyone! I am new to this forum and have some questions for you all to help me with.I purchased a new web cam this x-mas it is a Telemax WC10PC camera. I also installed ulead photo explorer V 8.0se basic. When I first open it up I get the following eooro message:
Load MPEG vio Driver error:c:\ProgramFiles\UleadSystems\UleadPhotoExplorer8.0sebasic\Ulead.dat\pex.ini-- then I click ok and proceed.I also have a screen capture program and when I click on the image file within photo explorer I get this message:error in opening the file c:\MyDocuments\Screens|screenshot009.gif. When I try to uninstall it it makes all my image file icons revert to the white windows logo icons and when I try to open them they will not open at all. I am also using ulead photo express v 2.0se. How can I uninstall this program and get my image files back to the normal ones and not to the white windows logo ones.
Any help concerning this matter would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance thundercloud. :( :?:

For MPEG VIO error, check the product FAQ.

It has the file opening error because the file name is not an legal file name I think because between Screens and screenshot009.gif it should be a "\", not a "|".

To fix the association of image extensions in Windows Explorer, you need to do it in manual. Select Tool->Folder Options in the menu of Windows Explorer, and click on File Extension, then you can click on the file icon to edit/modify for the file associations. But be careful, only edit the file icon you wish to change, or otherwise you might get your system into trouble.

Hope this helps.
