I just wanted to say hello to all members of the VideoStudio Forum. I am very new to Video editing and found this Forum to be just what I needed. I was very impressed when I visited the Ulead website to make my purchase of VideoStudio 10+. I was able to give my serial from a free disk I got with the DVD burner, it had VideoStudio 8SE. But it was good enough to get me a discount of $40.00 off the usual asking price. :D
I have found video editing to have a very steap learning curve. I bought 100 CD's and 50 DVD's, cheap ones to practice on. It is taking time and a lot of reading. I must have spent 20 hours reading many of the entries in this forum. But I am getting there. The point is this, the product has it's issues but many of these are already covered in this forum. Practice, practice and practice video capture and editing and eventually it will all make sense. I am having a lot of fun and wasted maybe 10 DVD's and 10 CD's but starting to get DVD's and VCD's without all the problems I started out with.

Thanks again to everyone in the forum for answering all the questions I would have asked but found already answered.

Kindest regards
Jim

Hi Bagpiper

Video Editing can be very frustrating, especially when things go wrong.
But extremely rewarding when you create a good dvd.

The forum is very excelant and willing to help all. If you have a problem ask here.

There is a recommended procedure that irons out some of the problems. (Top Post)
