Hi Guys
I have recently converted a couple of avi/divx movies to dvd using Vs8, However once converted the audio file it creates is about 1gig in size. Is there any way to adjust the audio file size when creating a dvd? As dvd movies generally have sound files of about 300mb.
Thanks

you probably converted using lpcm audio (runs 1536kbps).
you can switch to mpeg audio or Dolby Digital audio, you will have smaller audio sizes (based on the bitrate - you could use 192 or 224kbps).
Notes:
1) mpeg audio is a PAL Standard, but not an NTSC Standard -- so some NTSC DVD Players won't be able to handle mpeg audio
2) Dolby Digital audio is fine for both PAL and NTSC. However, it isn't automatically included in VideoStudio -- Ulead does offer a Dolby Digital plugin for VS8
