sorting library images

I have a question about sorting the files in the library:

I have a project with photo's over the whole 2006. Every time there are new photo's in that year i want to add them to the library and then to the timeline. The photo file names are in dateformat: MM/DD
One can sort the files in the library also by date in videostudio but thenvideostudio sorts the files with a other format like: DD/MM (i think videostudio uses the country settings in winxp?). Every time i want to add photo's i must write down wich photo's i was ending with because i cannot see that in the libray, and i want to add a lot of photo's in my project.

SOmeone has a idea how to best deal with this?
