How to include symbol in the title text

Post by viValdi »

Hi all - my first post here.

I need to include copyright symbol into title clip. Normally I would cut-n-paste from character map into any text - like here © .

EDIT: Hey, it doesn't work here as well.

This procedure doesn't work in VS10+ trial edition.

Is there any way to include special symbols into title text - I'm unable to learn three-key-shorcuts for all symbols I would like to use, sorry.

If this was already discussed, please let me know the link. I read most of the tutorals I came across (very helpful), but I couldn't find a solution to my problem.

BTW, I'll buy VS10+ soon. In my eyes it has the following advantages:

- not expensive as compared to other offerings
- it works with HDV, which is essential for me
- I'm not that sophisticated, all I need I can do with it (except symbol inclusion ;-) )

For the copyright, and trademark, etc.. you can open windows character map, Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools. You can then do copy paste, or use the Escape Code, or just press it on the keyboard. Character map shows what the escape sequence is.

Copyright esc code is Alt + 0169 ©

OK, fund the trick.

I tried to use Edit:Paste but paste is not available, it is dimmed.

But... Ctrl+V did the tick

hate shortcuts, there should be menu/mouse equivalent to every shortcut.

thx
