DVDMF 5 plus super slow in multi-trim mode

I have used DVDMF 4 without any major troubles, but recently upgraded to 5 plus. When I use the multi-trim function, it's super slow (as slow as taking 10 to 15 seconds to advance the 15 seconds of video on the fast forward). I've created the Video Editing Profile that Steve recommended in his May 2006 posting, eliminated all unnecessary services and programs and have seen no improvement. I've also re-installed the program a couple of times and it's still unbearably slow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Jerry
