Partial Transparency
Where do I find the tool to do partial transparency? For instance, to do transparency in the half of a person's face. I thank the attention. Julio - Brazil

Hi Julio, welcome to the forums,
The only tool that I can think of to do something similar is the Object Magic Eraser. It is located with the Eraser Tool, however behaves like the Magic Wand Selection tool. The difference is that the Magic Eraser tool, makes the selected objects transparent, essentionally erasing them.

I do this sort of thing via selections and objects - like this
1) Select the area you want to make transparent with whichever selection tool is appropriate
2) Store the selection
3) Convert the selection to an object
4) In the layer manager click on the 'eye' in the new object's layer so the new object becomes invisible
5) In the layer manager select the original image layer
6) Restore the stored selection
7) Delete the selected area. (If there is a base layer below it that will now show through the hole. If there is no base layer, select white as the background colour before deleting the selection.)
8 ) In the layer manager select the new object and make it visible again.
9) Right click on the new object's layer, go to Properties and adjust the level of transparency.
