The Video Filter Folder containing all the video filter files, is located at:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0\Video Filter

I also just experienced the same problem with Pro x2 on Vista.

The above solution worked great, after a few tries. On my first try, I deleted the uvs.ini file immediately after closing VideoStudio. Then when I restarted VideoStudio again, the video filters were still missing.

I then tried deleting the uvs.ini file following a re-boot, but before ever opening VideoStudio. That seems to be the trick that got it to work for me.

Thanks for the fix!

In VS11+ and XP I can confirm that copying and pasting the vFilter.rsf file to the desktop then deleting it from the VS11 folder works. The file then shows again when re opening and the video filters are back in the programme.I located the VFilter.rsf file via start-my computer- C:-docs and settings-username-application data-ulead systems-ulead video studio-11
Is it now safe to delete that file icon from the deskstop ?...................Ken
