Nature of the problem
-I have just purchased a Leadtek winfast TV2000XP PCI Capture card primarily to enable me to convert VHS tapes onto DVD via my computer. With this program I got a partial version of Video Studio 9 SE DVD. (I also got a partial version of DVD Movie factory 4 SE) I get to the point of asking the program Video Studio 9 SE DVD to capture the video and my system crashes. I suspect the program maybe incompatible with other software I have currently loaded on my PC which is Nero 6 and TMPGEnc DVD Author Ver 1.6.34.89.

I was trying to use Video Studio 9 SE DVD to capture it. I also used the winfast tuner itself to copy the file to my hard drive but Video Studio would still not capture it or import it. It just crashed.
What devices are involved and their mode of connection?
TV Capture card installed in my PC. Has RCA plug connections to both PC and video recorder.

Hi Dave, welcome to the forums..
Does your Leadtek come with other software to capture with or does it rely on the bundled version of VS9se? I tried looking through Leadteck's website and could not find mention of a specific capture program Leadteck would use. I did however see that there are some relatively new drivers for your capture device. Try d/l and updating them. Just because a device is new (to you) does not mean that it is up to date.
