UIPL.DLL was the issue for me
I am thankful for this post, I am using an AMD CPU and I had an issue with the resizableWnd.dll and PI 12 not loading. I renamed the UIPL.DLL to UIPL.DLLBAK and the program runs perfectly.htchien wrote:Hi,
UIPL.dll is a DLL file to load Intel optimized DLLs in Ulead products. I would not suggest to delete this file to solve the issue if you are using a Intel CPU.

Thank you.

Ok .. i did say the program worked ...abdliuae wrote: what i did is :
I changed the ( uipl.dll ) to ( _uipl.dll )
as cyborgasm and mjbose sayed
and the program worked![]()
But i discovered that only the "Full edit mode" is working
all other "ExpressFix Mode" , "Wed mode" , "Video & DVD Mode" .....etc
are not working ... means when i open a file in the other modes
PI will crash ...
Does it means there is no solution for this problem !!!!!

Hi,
Well I have experianced this Initializing ResizeableWnd.dll error just yesterday. Prior to this, P12 started and worked okay. I have no idea why this problem came up, but I simply did a repair install and P12 is now working again.
I am using Windows XP with SP1.

Thanks!
I just wanted to take the time to thank all of you for helping me with PI12. I feel like I have been backing up and running into a brick wall trying to get this program to work. I am not new to PI, I have used it for 8 yrs and used every version starting with PI5 but PI12 has been a different monster. It worked fine for a few weeks and then started crashing on start up. I have been through every setting, reinstalled, etc., nothing worked. Today I noticed this message about changing compatability settings and thought I would give it a try. Instant success and now PI12 is working like a dream again. You guys may have saved my sanity!
