Manipulating/customising title animations.

Post by BuZZarD »

Ok, the best way I can describe it is as follows:

Example:

I have a video/rendering of a planet with the sun behind it glowing around the edges. I select my title and select an animation for it (moving path, the one where it enters along the top and then swirls to a fade out.

What I'd really like is for that title to enter as it does, but swirl around the planet in the middle.
Is there any way I can manipulate an existing animation to change where it enters/exits/fades etc?

If I can't do it in either VS9 or VS10, does anyone know a program where I can create such an animation for titles for use in Videostudio?]

Or.....
Can I just get them to circle around a specific point on screen?

If I understand correctly what you want to acheive then either Ulead Cool 3D or Ulead Cool 3D Production Studio would appear to be the programme for you.

I strongly agree. Cool 3D 3.0 of course comes with the Video Studio package when you buy it. It only has a basic amount of templates and plug-ins but you can download more from the free stuff section of the Ulead website.

Cool 3D Production Studio is its big brother, though in my opinion, a lot slower than Cool 3D basic. Both programs can do a lot of, well, cool titles just using the standard presets. But they can also do much more sophisticated ones along the lines you want.

Be warned, though, that there is a fairly steep learning curve for this. However, being a Ulead product, there is a similar web forum like this one for Cool 3D... which can provide help along the way
