Fails to complete burn stoped at 66%. Downloaded latest patch which allowed the procees to move past 66% but still never started the burn. The burner is ok as checks out ok with another application.
Strange thing is it used to work. I use a Hauppage tv card.
Any suggestions

Seems to be a corrupt MPEG file. They are difficult to detect, until it gets re-mulitplexed.

You might try creating DVD folders instead to see if you can get through it. Also you can use that method in troubleshooting your problem. Do you have more then 1 video clip for your DVD burn project? If so try removing a clip, the try burning to your Harddrive (DVD folders). If you just have 1 video file, then you would need to cut in half, try using the first half to see if you are succesful, if not then you can continue this process until you have it narrowed down to the part that is corrupt, cut it out, and continue..

Tested by recording a 15 second burst from tv. Stopped at 66% as before and then contiunued past 66% after the latest patch was applied but still didn't attempt to burn the disc. This elininated any issues with the original sequence I was trying to burn. Beleive it's a program issue not the file I'm trying to burn or the recorder. Any other ideas.
