I have upgraded from MF 3.0 to MF 5.0 and am unable to burn anything using this program. I don't have any problems using other programs to burn or using MF 3.0 but for some reason MF5.0 reads all my DVD's as CD-R. Can anyone tell me why and help me fix the problem? I tried contacting tech support but they just told me it has to be my computer which I don't believe is the case. If anyone knows what the problem is I would greatly appriciate it.

run Windows XP
and have a sony DVD+-RW DW-Q58A

Sorry but I'm going to have to give you the dreaded uninstall/re-install answer. If the burner works OK with other programs/versions then it must be a faulty installation.
