Main timeline

Post by dabear »

Iv'e noticed that under the maintime line they have a Timeline and sometimes above the numbers of time when a video isn't working good by shaking and slowed down and only shows a couple frames of the video they have a red bar. And when the video is playing perfectly there isn't a red bar.

Can someone give me some info on that? Am I right about the red bar, What is it's purpose?

The red complexity bar indicates that Instant playback will not be good without pre-rendering, going through shades of pink. See p. 90/91 of the MSP8 manual
