The program quits a few minutes after it is opened. I then uninstalled VS10 and
reinstalled my original copy. The problem remains!
After the program quits, it will not restart.... the following Error report is
generated:

I can only open the program again if I reboot the computer.
I am using Windows XP with a Pentium 4 chip.
I would appreciate advice for this problem.

Does this happen even if you are not doing anything with Video Studio? Do you have a video file loaded?The program quits a few minutes after it is opened.
All of my crashes have been caused by bad (corrupted) video files. In my case, they were MPEGs. (Corrupt video files will often play-back OK, so it can be hard to tell.)
By any chance, is that a beta version? I don't have Video Studio on this machine, but I seem to remember reading that the first retail release was 10 point something...szAppVer : 10.0.0.0
