Customizing PI 12

I am trying to customize my PI 12. I cannot find the colour/brightness/contrast quick adjustment panel which usually sits bottom left of the workspace. I remember it took me ages to find it again on an earlier version, but it was already there when I installed PI 11. The panel I mean has R,G,B, brightness, contrast, with a + and - button for each option. Can anyone help with enabling it again, please? The handbook and help files seem to be silent on the subject.

Someone on another forum filled me in. You go to the File
Menu>preferences>general preferences. On the photoimpact tools tab, there is a checkbox for displaying the quick control buttons.
