Video capture problem

I have ulead video studio 7, when i attempt to capture the video from my camcorder (panasonic PV-D209) it captures it however the image is all scrambled and i can not hear any sound. I have the ADS PYRO A/V LINK, but can not understand why all of the sudden this is happening, I also get error messages that states there is no driver, please help me with this matter.
