Video Studio 10 - usability worse than v7.

Hi folks,

Whats the chances of getting the "save trimmed video" option that was in version 7 put back into version 10.

In v7, I could select a video in the gallery (without having to drag it to the storyboard), mark a segment, then quick save the segment into the ulead working directory by using that option. It was good for quickl pulling out multiple segments for later use. The whole thing only took a few mouse clicks to do.

In v10, all I have been able to do is save the same marked segment multiple times. Whatever the workflow is, its beyond me to work out how to save multiple segments - sometimes it works, other times it doesnt - apart from being confusing - its also wasting time and causing extra work (I'm using the v10 trial version to see if it was worth an upgrade).

Oh, and having a help file would be good as well.

Hi

The Save Trimmed Video option can be found in the top menu ‘Clip’

Have you tried the multi trim option. Although you do have to put the clips in the timeline.
