Import DVD Audio Track

I'm importing music videos from DVD to put on an iPod, or to strip out the audio only to save as a music file.

The import stage shows a list of the available movie files and chapters on the DVD and to the right of that is a list of the video streams.

The final VS10 production appears to use the 5.1 track by default and this creates problems when playing back through stereo headphones. As the actor/singer moves around the screen, the voice gets quieter and louder.

I've worked around this by using a different program to re-author the DVD, saving it to a folder on hard drive with the 5.1 stream removed and importing that folder into VS10. Since the normal stereo track is the only one available it then works fine.

Is it possible to specify in VS10 which audio stream to use when importing DVD?
