Jitter of Preview

Hi For some reason I am getting "Jitter" on the preview screen when capturing footage (from any type of source).

This did not used to happen.

I have tried "msconfig" to dissable everything to make sure nothing is interupting the capture but it makes no difference.

However the captured file is fine with no jitter !?

Does anyone know why I'm getting this?

Peter,
Don't worry about the condition of playback during capture. Video capture is demanding of CPU resources and preference is given to the capture process rather than the display. It will probably look OK during the edit phase.
