I need to create an AVI with a high frame/second rate i.e. at least 1000 frames per second. I need this for golf swing analysis.
Can someone please offer me a little guidance on how to do this in Videostudio 10?
Thanks.

Hi
I think you may be confusing Shutter Speed with Frames per Second.
Shutter Speed combined with the Aperture controls the amount of light passing through the lens on to the film. This is the same for a digital camera.
So when you set 1000 in the camera you are altering the exposure not the frame rate.
The recording rate ‘Frames per Second’ is set as 25 for Pal standard.
There may be an option to record in SP and LP modes.
Ok
When you have captured your footage To DV-Avi via firewire. (Format-DV is avi at 13 Gb per hour)
An Avi thumbnail is placed in the timeline.
You can alter the Playback Speed using Video Studio.
This will speed up or slow down the video.
I assume you want to slow the motion down.
Quality will of course be reduced. Reducing the Playback Speed to 10% will change a 10 second clip (250 frames) to about 100 seconds (2500 frames)
Hope this Helps
