We MSP 8 users waited a loooong time for SP1 to be released. As you know, it fixed quite a few bugs, but a few still remain. SP1 also introduced some bugs into the Audio Editor, and I'm curious as to whether any patches are forthcoming. Or has Ulead abandoned MSP to focus on their consumer products?

Any MSP 8 patches forthcoming?
None of the usual members here, not even the beta testers who have non-disclosure agreements, can reply. Only Ulead can respond. I've drawn the Product Manager's attention to your post.

Perhaps we can use this thread then as our wish list.Devil wrote:.......I've drawn the Product Manager's attention to your post.
If we don't ask we don't get. If we dont tell them what we would like to see then they are not mind-readers either. Please keep suggestions sensible otherwise the thread will lose any credibility.
I would like Ulead to have another long look at the Smart Compositor Designer Tool. Despite my earlier explanations of the problems encountered it didn't get fixed in Service Pack 1. I am of the opinion that the Smart Compositor Designer is something that - if it worked correctly - would place MediaStudio head and shoulders above the rest of the competition.
Just to re-cap what the fault is and has been tested and tested not only by myself but confirmed by other forum members who either reported the identical problem, or gave me assistance by conducting certain tests on their own machines thousands of miles away from my own.
When an object used in a smart composition is located in a certain Path location on the creators computer it does not get correctly "sucked in" by the Smart Compositer Designer.

Another improvement which can be added up to wish list would be to see in the thumnails the masks we customise. I havew created a number of those but I can not visualise their aspect in the thumbnails (the only way to distinguish them is through the name). Unless I am doing something wrong with the overlay masks. When we create a moving path we can see exactly how it looks like using the thumbnails.
Thanks to whom will help to get through.
