FAIL TO BURN ERROR MESSAGE

I have been trying to burn a slideshow for about two weeks. I have tried everything. I have downloaded all the patches and contacted support (big waste of time) nothing is working. It will get most of the way through the burning process and give a FAIL TO BURN message. I saw several things on here about mp3s so I went back and made a test without any musics or effects and I still get the same message. Can someone please help me?
